Great Field Report.
I got this field report from Waterfowler.com in my email. Looks like it could be a great season for Duck and Goose hunting in North Dakota.
Duck production in the U.S. Prairie Pothole region during 2009 was
outstanding and simply exceeded all expectations. Ample water and excellent
habitat conditions have resulted in the best duck production in decades.
In short, if you have ever dreamed of hunting the Prairie Pothole region of
Dakota¹s, this IS the year to do it. While the clock is ticking, there is
still time to plan a waterfowl hunting adventure of a lifetime and witness
your conservation dollars at work.
From freelance hunting to guided hunts, the Prairie Pothole Regions North
and South Dakota will provide a lifetime of quality hunting memories. In
our experience at WFC, during an El Nino season, hunting is best where the
ducks begin their migration and where they finally stop as the big push is
often hard and fast.
If you decide to make a trip to the Mecca of dunk hunting itself, visit
Waterfowler.com today to plan your freelance adventure or book a hunt with a
qualified guide service.
WFC readers visiting the region are encouraged to support our sponsors when
possible. For guided hunting information in both the U.S. and Canadian
Prairie Pothole Regions, members can contact Black Duck Outfitters at:

David Hedrick takes Congressman Baird to task.
I love watching these stuff shirts get the feed back that they deserved. This clip is awesome as former Marine David Hendrick takes liberal democrat Brian Baird to task.

Barney Frank at his town hall meeting.
I ask the good people of Massachusetts is this the best you can do, isn’t there anyone else you guys can elect to office. This man is a circus clown. Actually Frank is a poster boy for what is wrong with American politicians they hold their voters in contempt as they stand at the podium and look at their constitutes with condensation. Someone needs to remind Frank that he works for the people of his district in Massachusetts.
Listening to this Buffoon is quite entertaining.

Is anyone brave enough to send this to our democrat friends?
Stunning list of achievements
If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics,
would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and
incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful
and historically significant gift, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos
of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic
and tacky?
If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have
approved?
If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the
non-existent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor
slip?
If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with
people who cannot seem to keep current on their income taxes, would you
have approved?
If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to "Cinco de
Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the fourth of May
(Cuatro de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you
have winced in embarrassment?
If George W. Bush had mis-spelled the word "advice" would you have
hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoe as proof of what
a dunce he is?
If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a
single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?
If George W. Bush's administration had okayed Air Force One flying low
over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown
Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they
actually get what happened on 9-11?
If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter
installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have
laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is
really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?
If George W Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout
the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans,
would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of
racism and incompetence?
If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major
corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so,
would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had
taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have
approved?
If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again 10 times
within years, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan's holdings of GM stock
by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have
approved?
If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura
Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?
So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and
impressive? Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this in 5
months -- so you'll have three years and seven months to come up with an
answer.

FOX's Major Garrett eats Robert Gibbs lunch.
This is the reason that people hold the politicians in contempt. David Gibbs is worse than former propaganda minister for Saddam Hussein's Iraq Baghdad Bob. Listen to the condescension that Gibbs uses to talk to Major Garrett. There is no way Gibbs would talk to an adoring reporter from MSNBC or CNN like this.
Send Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee home.
Wow! Talk about out of touch and disengaged from the people you serve. When you’re listening to your voters turn the cell phone off and act like you care. Of Course Lee not known for being one of the brightest congressional leaders in the house had this to say about the phone call.
"I dialed the hotline number to give a better answer. I said to the audience, they may not have heard me, that I am trying to get an answer," said Congresswoman Lee in one of her cable interviews.
Miller disagreed. "She was getting phone calls and finding out who was in the room, that she needed to say hello to and that's what I believe what was going on right then. After I was done talking, she would say, 'I would like to welcome,'" said Miller.
And that is only one area where their stories differ on what took place at the town hall meeting. Congresswoman Lee says they are now buddies and will hang out together in Washington D.C.
"Now I consider her a friend. I invited her to Washington," said Congresswoman Lee in a cable interview.
That was news to Miller.
Ed Schultz says, "Sometimes I think they want Obama to get shot."
Anyone want to lay odds on how long it takes for Ed Schultz to be on the unemployment line? This is one of the stupider things he has said. We should fear socialism and Marxism because this is not what our country was founded on. We are a capitalistic society however, this country is being run by a guy that follows the book ‘Rules for Radicals’ as if it was his play book. Ed Schultz is nothing more than a sniveling, whining cry baby that is irrelevant. If Ed had said this on his MSNBC show no one would have seen it because his rating are so poor.
No Ed Schultz you two bit moron with no ratings, we do not want the president to get shot but we will oppose him every step of the way because of his policies, they flawed and wrong and dangerous and will spend us into oblivion. I also hope that he goes home in 3 years after he is voted out of office.

Howard Kurtz talks to Linda Douglass
This woman is a liar and a spin merchant, the lay man's term is she is full of bullshit, how can you take OBAMA's words out of context when it's exactly what OBAMA said? I have to give Howard Kurtz credit he does ask Douglas some tough questions. Finally someone in the OBAMA cheering media ask a couple of semi tough questions.

The American Thinker nails it.
Mark Levin was talking about this American Thinker article on his show on the 5th of August and Lee Cary really nails it, and illustrates how far out of touch the left wing really is.
I believe this is what is going to happen to the democratic senators and congress people if they don’t realize that they are not doing the will of the people. We aren’t a bunch of right wing zealots and crazies but informed people. One by one these out of touch politicians are going to fall like a house of cards. We will defeat you in the ballot boxes.

Barack, Nancy, Harry, Rahm, Barney, Waxman et al have been cattle-driving a legislative cramdown since the TARP bill passed in George W. Bush’s final days. They mistook victory against a tepid Republican presidential candidate for a mandate to reconstitute the United States of America. Slow to awaken, her citizens now grow angrier. It’s not the loss of land and lives they fear, but of freedoms. Accustomed to trusting any new president, they’re quickly losing confidence in this one. Seduced by his artful use of the spoken word, they’re growing attuned to the nuances within his words. When he begins a sentence with “Let me be clear about this,” our listening becomes acute, for it’s not clarity that often follows, but evasiveness through circuitous parsing.
As members of Congress go home for recess it won’t be to playground games. Some will hide from their constituents, not wanting to face them. Why bother? They plan to vote as Rahm and their party leaders tell them anyway, for their only ideology is to remain in power. Others will think, “The people have short memories; soon they’ll be back watching reruns of Law & Order.” They’ll underestimate the resistance. Meanwhile, the legacy media will attribute it to right-wingers and belligerent extremists incited by their demonized arch enemies, conservative talk show hosts. They don’t get it either.

We aren’t a bunch of right wing zealots and crazies but informed people. One by one these out of touch politicians are going to fall like a house of cards. We will defeat you in the ballot boxes.
Others, the bolder pols, will face their constituents and be so foolish as to presume to tell them what they, the voters, should think. Tell them what’s good for them, whether they know it or not. This will be a mistake. Unless they represent the uniformly like-minded, these members of Congress will face spirited resistance. More of it than most will have encountered in their political careers. When it comes, their faces will assume fault lines of shock-and-awe in the face of citizen audacity. Some will paper over it with thin smiles and louder talk. That won’t work.
Vocal opposition from their constituents differs from what they’re accustomed to hearing from colleagues on the floor of the House or Senate. There it’s, “I respectfully take exception to the position expressed by the honorable member from the state of bla bla bla.” The ruling class speaks the language of the ruling class when citizens might be watching on C-SPAN. But in the public forum, people speak plainly, in a language with which some members of Congress are not used to being addressed. The resistance doesn’t speak Beltway.

It's going to be a tough August recess for our leaders.
The public needs to keep hammering the politicians and let them know they work for us and that we don't want this socialist and Marxist crap. Kudos to the guy for asking the question that Spector fumbled badly. The fact remains is that they don’t even read the legislation that they are passing. This a perfect example of why we need term limits.

Fort McClellan, Alabama is falling apart.
Here is the army base that I went to basic training at in June of 1985 and I left a soldier in October of 1985 days after my 19th birthday. Fort McClellan in Anniston, Alabama was a One Station Unit Training base(OSUT) for the Army's Chemical Warfare Corps and Military Police Corps.
It is a shame that the military base that were close as part of the BRAC are falling apart and being over grown with weeds. I wonder how many of us proud MP's have passed through the gates of this once great military base. How many of us fought in Grenada Panama, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and or Afghanistan?
Grand Forks Herald continues to cover for Conrad.
No one should be shocked the it’s the same old crap again Grand Forks Herald is out front telling the local populace/rubes there is nothing to see here folks, we need to move on and the Herald is providing political cover for the three amigos again, don't expect any thing objective when dealing with Team ND from the Grand Forks Herald.
One has to wonder how the Herald reporters can even type when they are wearing their pom-poms and cheer leading. If the editor of the Herald is wondering why he is losing readers? It's editorial articles like. The Herald is no longer a objective unbaised newspaper, you have become a left wing rag that many of us despise.
So basically the Herald is going to make excuses for Conrad and this will in essence be the end of the story nothing to see here folks, please move along. What part of it’s unethical and looks bad does the Herald lap dog(s) not understand? Your political bias is showing and it’s disgusting. The Herald is becoming a mouth piece for the ND DNC.
Senator Kent Conrad is a powerful democrat on the Finance and Budget committes. It's unethical and this looks bad and doesn't pass the smell test.

Conrad’s in national and North Dakota news because of the testimony of Robert Feinberg, a loan officer who worked in Countrywide’s “VIP” department. Feinberg told congressional committees that Conrad knew he was getting preferred rates on his Countrywide loans.
Conrad denies that. Let’s be clear: Conrad doesn’t deny being treated well by Countrywide. U.S. senators get treated well everywhere they go. Moreover, senators who pay their bills on time get treated especially well by banks, as do creditworthy doctors, lawyers, successful actors, CEOs and others in high income brackets.
Remember, Countrywide’s VIP program embraced thousands of customers, including Walter Cronkite, former U.N. ambassador Richard Holbrooke and the late film director Robert Altman.
What Conrad denies is knowingly accepting unreasonably good treatment — treatment so cozy that it would have raised red flags.
Those flags would have signaled, “This is a below-market offer. It’s being extended because you are a senator, and Countrywide hopes for congressional favors in return.”
So far, the evidence bears Conrad out.

Senator Kent Conrad is a powerful democrat on the Finance and Budget committes. It's unethical and this looks bad and doesn't pass the smell test.
And while the Securities and Exchange Commission has filed charges against Countrywide’s top execs, the charges have nothing to do with the above. Instead, the SEC alleges that the executives defrauded investors by misrepresenting the company’s health.
If Countrywide’s VIP customers were being charged with accepting bribes, that would be one thing. But that’s not happening. Instead, those customers — including Conrad — are claiming they did nothing wrong; and so far, law enforcement as well as the customers’ employers, professional boards and other “juries” seem to agree.
Conrad’s jurors are the voters of North Dakota, and we’re not surprised that they’re giving him the benefit of the doubt. He has earned it. His long career has been untouched by scandal, no small achievement for a powerful person living in the public eye. He’s respected by his Senate colleagues and is ably playing a pivotal role.
