These are some of the pictures that I took from this summers races. It has been another awesome season at River Cities Speedway.

A look at Mark Dobmeier's trailer

While making my weekly trip through the pits after Friday's races at River City Speedway I had the opportunity to take a tour Marks Dobmeiers hauler. I was checking out their t-shirts and their hauler from the ramp when Mark's Dad Mike gave me a personal tour. I am thankful that I was able to get a closer look of Marks hauler.

Here is what I learned; there is a car for Husets speedway, a car for Knoxville speedway and a car for River Cities Speedway. The Dobmeier Lunstra Motorsports from my visual inspection looks pretty close to the haulers you see on the WoO sprint car tour. I would like to thank Mike Dobmeier for giving me a tour of your son's rig, your operation is classy and I am now even a bigger fan. If my math is right Mark passed the 20 feature wins mark again this season with Friday nights win. Mark also won the Knoxville speedway feature on Saturday night giving him 21 for the season.

Photos from the World of Outlaws

Here are some photos from the World of Outlaws sprint car show that took place at River Cities Speedway on 6-27-2008. Like C.Y. said in the comments section of another blog post, The biggest crowd I've ever seen at the track and some of the best racing I've ever seen as well.

C.Y is right it was a great race and a great experience but too bad they didn't put up enough port a potties. There was approximately 38 sprint cars and they put on a hell of a show.

This is getting tiresome. No action again this week.

Kind of makes you wonder if there will ever be racing this summer?

River Cities Speedway the NO-ACTION track.

This is becoming a reoccuring theme at River Cities Speedway. It is June and I have yet to see a race this season. I just hope the World of Outlaws aren't rained out.

I am sure that many race fans just like me await the arrival of the the 2008 racing season. In retrospect it would have been kind of chilly in the stands tonight with the wind coming straight out of the north.
