Racing Photos from the NST Sprint Car Show.

NST Makes An Appearance
This past summer the National Sprint Tour made its way to River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND on the 7th and 8th of July, and was by far some of the best racing the Fans at River Cities Speedway would witness all summer. The NST will be back next season on the 6th and 7th of July. You might want to save your money now because tickets will not be cheap. This year tickets were priced at 40.00 a wack/crack. The NST Sprint Cars were lead by Steave Kinser and they put on a great show for two nights.

Kaeding Takes Night One and The Dude Takes Night Two
Kinser's teammate and driver of the 11KTim Kaeding took the first race of the two night special. and Danny "the Dude" Lasoski took night two. In case you missed the Knoxville National the Dude is same racer that almost got into a fistfight with his father after a qualifing race for the Knoxville Nationals Final got heated. This happened after Danny Lasoski almost took out his own nephew who (I believe) was driving his father car during he B-Feature of the Knoxville Nationals. According to Lasoski, when you put on the helmet your just another driver this in referring to his family members and the melee that almost ensued after the race. Thank God Donny Schatz won the 100,0000 to in race.

When I heard that the NST and the World of Outlaws had formed two separate series, I was very skeptical and I thought that the two racing circuit would suffer, and one would end up crashing. I was wrong and the circuits were able to run two very competitive racing series. The culmination of the summer was during the Knoxville Nationals when Schatz dominated the 40 lap feature to claim the national championship.
