A Few Pictures of Opening Weekend.

A Sucessful Field Hunt
Opening weekend in North Dakota was a very successful hunt. The first two days of the opener our group hunted in the Devils Lake area close to Crary, ND. Field hunting is where it’s at because you are not slugging it out in a dirty slough. It’s also not hunting in the roast. Another bonus of field hunting is that you’re not wearing hot bulky waders and you don’t have to put up with a smelly wet dog on the way home.

Hunting With The Boys
This time of year gives you a good perspective of why we put up with the horrible weather of North Dakota. Winters are horrendous up here and one might say that they suck to put it mildly, but one could make the argument that nothing beats Ducktober.
