Nygaaard wins ASCS Northern Plains Opener in Fargo, ND
River Cities regular Wade Nygaard won the ASCS opener in Fargo, ND in an exciting race on the Red River Valley speedway half mile. It was the first time that I had witnessed an ASCS race and I wasn't disappointed. I am hoping that Fargo starts scheduling this circuit on a regular basis.
Also, new comer Thomas Kennedy (son of Lou Kennedy Jr) put on quite a show challenging for the lead until he bumped the wall in turn four late in the race trying to pass a slower sprint car driven by Kevin Ingle. It will be exciting watching the Kennedy race team in the future. stay tuned folks.
