When hunting up in Manitoba the first flock of geese to come in were always the small Canadians, about the size of a large Mallard hen. We had always called them the "Crackers", they are noisy and many times land right in the decoys. You had to pass on them so you wouldn't be filled out so when the Giant Canadian Geese started coming in.
